This year's theme was "In The Movies"

That means that the model entered into this category should be a replica of something seen in a movie or TV show.
 Entry must state which movie or TV show it was seen in.

Fellow Modelers

There were 44 contestants with 145 entries. We had 7 vendors with 8 display tables.
The Make & Take table was used by 8 Kids and we had approx 40 public visitors.
We had the following entries:

Auto Stock - 24;

A/C 1/48 & Larger - 15;
A/C 172 & Smaller - 11;
Figures - 6;
Juniors - 9;
Intermediate - 2;

The CNSM logo shown on all trophies was beautifully sculpted by accomplished miniaturist Jo-Ann Shaw.
The logo was originally made in wax by Jo-Ann, cast in resin by Barry Maddin, molded and painted by E. James Small who also designed the logo.

The kits and other prizes given by the sponsors that were given away at the end of the show...

Round 2 models provided a nice donation of kits centre stage!
Sci-Fi fans will be interested in the BRAND NEW "Space: 1999 Eagle Transporter" kit
measuring nearly 22inches long that is coming out at the end of the year!

The lovely and gracious Kaitlin Perks, easily the most attractive club member (I mean, look at that smile!)
works away at a new project accompanied by a friend...

Participants got a chance to not only display their models but work at them as well!
Mike Harrop (foreground) is addicted to kit-bashing!
