Sorry! Temporarily unavailable. Please see note HERE. These limited resin cast parts will help you get your own 44" model finished a LOT faster by saving you significant scratch building work. These crisply cast parts are proportionally accurate, mastered using measurements from the original 44" studio model supplied by model expert Chris Trice! Although all of the parts supplied here are made from cast resin, these parts are plenty strong enough for a display model and also makes for a much lighter model than was the original studio model which was necessarily more robust to withstand the punishment of filming crashes etc. The pictures shown on this page are of a model being built from all the parts listed below and is quite sturdy for general handling and display (parts are shown temporarily propped because the connecting spine is not yet in place). Please
Note carefully: These parts are recommended for use only by experienced modelers who have the knowledge of basic structural design and know how the model is supposed to be built. You can also read David Sisson's Restoration article to see how the original model is built and can be used as a guide, although somewhat different engineering practices are used with these resin parts. If you have any questions I will do my best to help you. Also please note that you can purchase extremely accurate blueprints of the model by going HERE. These blueprints are an absolute must for a scratchbuild project and to use with these parts, as they detail every single part to scale and shows how all the parts go together. Castings of the nose cone will be available soon. To order any of the sets shown below, please go HERE
