This kit of the popular orange Glider is now finally available from Small Art Works in two scales. One is designed to fit the popular 12" die-cast Transporter models, the other is to scale with a 22" Transporter and can also be used with the 23" models as well (as shown in the pictures on this page). The model was carefully researched and accurately scaled down using actual measurements taken from the original largest "hero" studio model! The larger of the two kits, consisting of six parts, also comes with the three spine attachment points and clamps which clip into place, and can be used without having to modify or damage your Transporter model. The smaller kit utilizes a simpler "rail" construct that clips to the spine of the 12" Transporter model, as shown below. (Note: the wings are not shown in one picture, but they ARE included in the kit...) The kit was mastered by E. James Small and is molded and beautifully cast for you in the highest quality urethane resin. A complete set of comprehensive decals are available for the kit as well, and can be purchased exclusively from JBOT, at www.jbot.ca. The decals are NOT included in the kit, as many people may prefer to try the challenging job of painting the model instead.  The kit is extremely easy to build and would make a good starter model for anyone with limited experience building resin castings.  Please keep in mind that these kits, like all items on the Small Art Works web site are NOT mass produced but made to order on an individual basis, so delivery time may be longer than you might expect.
