This is
a fully functional, free-flying model airship which I designed and built
in 1991 for advertizing services in indoor areas. The helium filled model
is 14 feet long overall, and operates by radio control using three electric
motors for maneuvering. It is capable of lifting up to 3.3 pounds of payload
on top of it's own weight, allowing it to be fitted with a lightweight
video camera and transmitter for live aereal television pictures.
